NII – National Institute of Immunology
Delhi provides opportunities for the students to carry out project work under
the supervision of the Institute’s scientists towards the partial fulfilment of
their postgraduate degrees (of at least SIX months duration)
Eligibility Criteria :
First
division or an equivalent grade (or at least 60% of aggregate) in all major
examinations starting from the SSC secondary school examination onwards.
Students
who are pursuing masters degree
- MSc,
- MVSc,
- MTech,
- Integrated masters ( students in their 4th year etc.)
Applicants
must mention their broad area of interest and/or names of NII scientists s/he
would like to work with. If individual names are provided SEVEN names in order
of priority may be given. This will help us in choosing the right laboratory
for the selected students but there is no guarantee that the student will
always get to work with the chosen scientist.
his training course or Project work is in 2 sessions:Session I: July-December; Session II: January-June
Applications are now invited for January-June slot and will be accepted only from 15th August to 15th September every year and only selected students will be informed by 31st October.
How to Apply ?
The requests must be forwarded through the HoDs – Heads of Departments, & must provide the academic resumes of the recommended student(s) clearly specifying percentage marks obtained at various levels and the subjects covered, as well as the period of proposed project work.Every department can forward a maximum of two requests.

The subject line should mention ‘Six month Trainee application’.
This must be followed by a hard copy application sent to:

There are no fixed numbers available each year but requests are considered on the basis of the available vacancies.
